The Dafnis Family, producers of "The Governor", welcome and introduce you to an unforgettable olive oil experience. An experience which travels you back in time, learns you about the Dafnis olive history. Learn all about truths and myths of olive oil, from Olive Experts, taste one of the highest phenolic olive oils in the world and receive a certificate of participation.

Your tour starts with a personally guided walk through the ancient olive groves. Admire the untouched olive area and meet the resident olive expert in the groves. Hear the story of the oldest olive variety in the world and experience being an islander yourself. When you arrive at the mill, enjoy the "taste like a pro" program to learn how the production is made: combining tradition with the latest technology. Savor delicious Greek olive delicacies during the visit of the olive mill. In this private tour, you will learn how to taste and recognize high quality olive oil just as the professionals do in our workshop. It is an unique lesson which you can share with friends and family. Find out about the therapeutic and health protecting qualities of olive oil and learn how to distinguish between top quality and non extra virgin olive oil. During the program, enjoy some delicacies such as olive oil paired up with bread, tomatoes, feta cheese and a handmade cracker with a glass of local wine. At the end of the tour you will be awarded a certificate of participation. The tour ends at approximately 1:30pm.

Great tour and tasting in a nice setting.

Really enjoyed this experience - a lovely place, great informative guide and talk, and learned a lot about Corfu, Olive Oil and history! the tasting segment was really great and different olive oil tasted and then served with bread, salad and yogurt. An interesting selection of items to buy in the shop beyond the olive oil too - including some dry oil moisturiser which is lovely! Really recommend this as an experience while visiting Corfu.

Full tour with pickup, trees, and more

Clear and professional pickup service thanks to Andriana and Sotiris. Beautiful setting and tasting room, very informative tour about olive oil. Around 30 in the tour, with some people arriving independently. After having time to shop, we got driven to the olive grove and learned more about the trees, then got to see an old Byzantine fort. Got back to the Corfu town area around 3:20, so be prepared for a full day. Unique and well-done experience!

Great Olive Oil Experience

We loved our experience with the Governor's Olive Mill in Corfu. It included being picked up and returned at the Port, as well as stops to see olive trees and an old fortress. At the Mill itself we learned a lot about the production of olive oil, and we sampled their olive oils with various snacks and more. Exceptional Olive Oil Experience

An exceptional olive oil experience with warm hospitality and outstanding quality. The tour was informative, the tasting was unforgettable, and Governor produces one of the finest high-polyphenol extra virgin olive oils I have ever tried. Highly recommended!
