Participants not only enjoy a curated beer tasting, selecting a brew to infuse into their waffle batter, but also engage in a personalized waffle baking class. The fusion of beer and waffle creation, coupled with expert guidance, offers a distinctive culinary adventure. The finale, a self-indulgent feast of freshly baked Brussels waffles paired with chosen toppings and beer, ensures a memorable and delicious experience. Participants leave not only with a satisfied palate but also with the knowledge to recreate this extraordinary pairing at home, making it a one-of-a-kind gastronomic journey.

1) Belgian Beer Tasting: We’ll kick off the experience with a delightful beer tasting session. You’ll sample three different varieties of Belgian beer, accompanied by intriguing background information about each selection. From these, you’ll choose one beer to incorporate into your waffle batter. 2) Belgian/Brussels Waffle Baking Class: Next, you’ll partner up at a cooking station (two people per station) to create your own waffle batter using the beer you selected. Our team will guide you step by step through the waffle-making process, ensuring you master the art of crafting the perfect batter. 3) Food Pairing and Tasting: Finally, you’ll have the opportunity to bake your own Brussels waffles and enjoy them with the perfect toppings, along with the beer you chose earlier in the session. Feel free to bake and savor as many waffles as you like! To top it all off, you’ll receive the recipe so you can recreate this delicious experience at home.

Great Waffle Making Experience

I booked this experience as my husband and I did a similar experience in Bruges and thoroughly enjoyed it. We ended up being the only people in attendance so we had a private class with Ingrid which was fantastic! Ingrid went through all the history of each beer we tried and gave us information on which will work best in our waffles. Totally Fabulous Experience!!

OMG!! How FUN!!! Francesiwer (sorry I know I'm spelling it wrong) What a hoot our Host was. The group we had was absolutely amazing!! Our host was VERY interactive, Funny, and teased us along the way!! By far the best thing we did while in Brussels!!

Fun and yummy activity

This was such a fun activity. Francois was such a lovely host. She had anecdotes to share and gave us the history facts for what we were drinking. The waffles and beer were delicious. Getting to the place was so easy and singable was clear. It’s up the road from Manneken-Pis, so you can catch that on the way there.

Well worth the cost!

This is a fun activity to learn a bit about Brussels, sample some beers, make some tasty waffles., and chat with other guests. Our class leader was a fantastic woman who had a lot of pride for Belgium culture and was warm and friendly. My teens loved the experience as well. She let us drink unlimited beers too.
