Spend the morning at Hadrian’s Villa, discovering the emperor’s amazing country residence and its interesting architectural features. You will see an artificial pool and grotto, the Canopus and Serapeum, and many other Greek and Egyptian influences which make this place so unique.

You will then see the town of Tivoli, where you will have a break while you enjoy lunch.

Note that there is plenty of walking on this tour. Hadrian's villa is larger than I expected (maybe 5km of walking over an hour or so) and the villa Desti has a lot of stairs if you want to go into...read more
