Rise and shine! It's time to explore Savannah and you'll meet your guide for coffee and soft, warm, powdered sugary goodness in the form of beignets near our starting point. The True South Lunch Tour meets at the Riverfront in Rousakis Riverfront Plaza (close to Huey's restaurant). Look for your smiling guide in a GA peach-colored shirt and Flavors Food Tours logo.
This tour focuses on CUISINE: enjoying foods native to the South and Savannah, learning the history behind its origins and understanding the culture and history of this region.
We'll be walking about 2 miles through the historic northern section of Savannah. Foods we'll be trying include coffee, beignets, Fried Green Tomatoes, Shrimp N Grits and/or other main dishes of the South, She Crab Soup, Pecan Pie and more! This tour includes a cocktail (or mocktail for non drinkers) so ease on into vacation mode an slow it down a bit...you're in the South now!

Savannah, great place to be a Foodie!
The food was excellent and the portions were generous. Our tour guide(Michael), was very good and provided many interesting facts about downtown Savannah.

Getting Your Steps in While Enjoying A Good Meal
A good tour guide that is knowlegible makes all the difference. The 3 hour tour went very well because we walked, sat , ate in comfortable environments (although the outdoor temperature was hot).

Best way to start a trip!
Highly recommend this food tour and this company to anyone who wants to experience Savannah’s culture through food and fun conversation. Every stop provided amazing food and portion sizes that left us genuinely full. Jessica was a wonderful guide and provided us with tons of local information and even more recs for future meals. We did this tour as our first outing and it set us up perfectly for the rest of our trip.
