Experience Details
Meet our local tour leader and start this journey in the gastronomic world of Piedmont.
Appreciate the historical shops and taste a range of traditional dishes while you will learn about curiosity and history.
Taste Gianduiotto, legend has it that the gianduiotto was born as a result of the continental blockade of 1806 imposed by Napoleon, many chocolatiers began to produce chocolate by replacing part of the dough with hazelnuts.
Bicerin, which in Piedmont means "glass", is the name of a typical non-alcoholic drink from Turin, which originates from another 18th century drink called "bavareisa".
Vitel tonnè with a glass of wine, contrary to what one might think, is not originally from France but is very Italian: the term vitel tonnè comes from the Piedmontese dialect.
Cheeses occupy a very important part of the Piedmontese enogastronomic heritage because there are more than hundreds and many of them have acquired over the years the designation DOP and DOC.
