Discover the art of whisky making with Woven, acclaimed ‘punks of Scotch whisky,’ in the heart of Leith. This interactive experience invites you to delve into the world of blending as you create your own unique whisky. Start with a welcome highball, then explore Leith's rich whisky history before participating in a guided deconstructed tasting. Engage in a hands-on blending session, utilizing a diverse flavor library and active maturation techniques. Complete your experience with a farewell cocktail and take home a 100ml bottle of your personalized blend.

Alcoholic beverages

1 x Highball, 1 x Cocktail and multiple tasting samples within the orientation and blending process. (minimum of 5 x 10ml).

Meals

There is no food provision as part of this experience. Please eat before you arrive.

Two hours in the blending room at Browns of Leith, with Woven's Co-Founder and award-winning whisky maker. You'll work with the same flavour library we use when building the range. Taste individual components. Experiment with ratios. Adjust until the balance feels right. Then bottle your blend, label it, and take it home. You arrive as a guest. You leave as a whisky maker, with a 100ml bottle of something that didn't exist before you walked in. The event flows as follows. > Arrival Highball in Haze > Component Deconstructed Tasting 5 x 10ml > Blending Session (creation of 5 small blends) > Finishes with a cocktail > 100ml of your creation to take home.

Incredibly unique whisky express in Edinburgh

We had an absolutely brilliant Friday afternoon here - I took my dad because we go to loads of whisky tours and experiences together, but this one was totally different to anything else wee ever done. Anna was a brilliant host, answered all our questions and helped us with blending suggestions. 10/10 experience!

This whisky blending experience exceeded my expectations! My partner and I treated my father to the tour as a belated birthday present. Our guide, Anna, was friendly, easy-going and engaging, giving us a great overview of Leith’s whisky history and what we’d be doing during the session. The blending room was small and intimate.
