Experience Details
This tour will take you to the pretty Caravelle peninsula, about in the middle of the Atlantic coast of the island.
A short walk of 25min will lead us to discover a unique natural environment: the mangrove.
This amazing ecosystem is observable in tropical regions, making the link between land and sea. I will describe these specificities, we will observe different varieties of crabs, and I will tell you more about the importance of preserving these threatened environments.
We will then discover the secrets of a vanilla producer, this spice that we all know and that decorates so many dishes and desserts. The guided tour of this surprising garden will teach you more about many local species, including the secrets of the spices of our Creole cuisine.
We will take the time to discover a wild beach lined with coconut trees away from the tourist visitation, and end our day with a nice viewpoint for your best memories.
