Good to Know

The tasting room is a laid back evening of all things gin. The venue is a beautifully renovated and quirky 17th Century Coaching Inn. Your host will be on hand all evening to look after you and your group and answer any questions you may have. The tasting room is located on the site where the spirits are handcrafted and you can see where the magic happens! Run by real, actual people - if your perfect evening is different drop us a line and we’ll do what we can to make it just right.

Alcoholic beverages

Each guest will receive 3 perfect serve gin and tonics and four samples of the spirits made on site

Exclusive use of the Gin Palace for your group only.

Snacks

Meat and cheese platters, crackers, crisps, nuts and olives.

Your party of between 6 and 25 will have exclusive use of one of the 4 unique and quirky tasting rooms in The Gin Palace. You will be welcomed with a Test Valley gin and tonic. Once you have settled in you can enjoy meat and cheese platters followed by a tutored tasting of the spirits made on site (or just chat and drink if you'd rather!) Following the tasting you will receive two more of the gins made on site with their perfect serve. Your host will be available all evening to answer your questions and chat all things gin, or just make sure your glass is topped up. The experience lasts about an hour and a half but you are welcome to stay and enjoy gin and tonics or rum and mixers by the glass and 10% off any bottle purchases made during the event. No queues for the bar, music of your choice, just you and your friends. A relaxed and laid back evening of all things gin. If you’d like a bespoke event or have fewer people in your party just drop us a line and we’ll see what we can do! This is strictly over 18s only. If any of your party are lucky enough to look 25 or younger please bring valid ID along.

Test Valley Gin and Tonic

This is a fresh and savoury gin infused with basil and thyme. Perfectly served with Fevertree Indian Tonic and fresh thyme.

MAIN

Spire Gin and Tonic

Infused with lemon verbena this is a light and citrusy gin. Perfectly served with Fevertree Indian Tonic and a slice of pink grapefruit or orange.

Seasonal Solstice Gin and tonic

Summer Solstice Gin is a pink gin infused with hibiscus and summer fruits. Or enjoy a Winter Solstice Gin infused with spiced apples.

We visited The Gin Palace on Saturday for the gin tasting experience and had an absolutely amazing time. The whole experience was fantastic from beginning to end. The setting is brilliant, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and of course there was plenty of great gin to enjoy! Great place

We visited recently and had a lovely evening here. Beautifully decorated inside and a large selection of gins to try. We loved the hot cross bun gin and the cocktails were delicious. We would definitely visit again.

Let there be gin.

We had booked a couple of places on the mixology course (28.01.2023). Unfortunately, it was postponed for a couple of weeks. As I had booked train tickets and accommodation for the night I decided that the wife and I would still go. We went to the gin palace for a couple of hours and tried a few of the cocktails. Kim was standing in for Kate and she was lovely. Very chatty and friendly. We are looking forward to going on 18 February for the mixology class.

A must visit

The best venue for a girls night out! We chose Kate’s gin palace for a reunion and it was so much fun. Beautifully designed, and delicious gin which is all handmade by Kate!

Having work in the service sector for some time now so I know how tough it can be. Came across this recently and couldn’t recommend enough. It just so rare to meet a business owner with such love,care and attention in what she does. If its a personal touch your looking for on a special night out or even if your just looking for something a little different. I have another night booked already. Thank you Kate.
