On this West Kelowna wine tour, you will visit some of the best wineries the Okanagan Valley offers, each with award-winning wines and breathtaking views of local vineyards and Okanagan Lake. Black Swift Vineyards

Black Swift Vineyards and Screaming Frenzy came about when we were spit-balling winery concepts at our production facility in Peachland in 2014. We wanted something that celebrated our vineyards and amazing growers, but also wanted something that in an industry full of snobbery, didn’t take itself too seriously. We jokingly started to throw around bird names, as the hatch is located right beside Quails Gate, we had a long list of Native Okanagan birds in front of us, looking for something to jump off the page. Black Swift made the shortlist, and after a little research, it became clear to us this was the name! There were two aspects in particular that we loved. There was the fact that the Black Swift lays only one egg at a time which was a perfect analog to our single-vineyard focused releases, and also that a group of Black Swift birds is known as a “Screaming Frenzy” what a fantastic name for anything!

A must tour to see the sites of Kelowna.

Couldn’t be more prepared for our small group of four. The tour is very personalized and conscious of the experience of all wineries in West Kelowna. Made sure to keep us on time, but also be able to experience every winery that we stopped at, took us to a fantastic restaurant for lunch and had a full seven hour day of wine, tastings, and experiencing the sites of Kelowna.

Amazing Wine Tour

Amazing day. The views from the wineries were wonderful . Chris who was our driver was great, full of information about Kelowna, the wineries and anything we wanted to know. Would recommend this company for anyone who wants to do a winery tour.

Chris is GREAT!

Chirs was a really great tour guide. Always giving tidbits of information on where and what our next stop was and made sure we were taken care of promptly for our tastings when arriving at wineries. Very friendly and fun gentleman!

Kelowna Wine tastings Tour

Very good tour. Saw some wineries that were not on our radar which was wonderful because they were hidden gems. Highly recommended.
