    Experience Details

    This is a tour like no other. All participating business and points of interest are within a 1.5km radius. The self-guided approach to this tour gives visitors the ideal chance to seek out the very best history, landmarks, food and drink the town has to offer.


    Customers on the tour should expect a broad range of tasting experience from traditional fish and chips, cream teas and locally brewed beers to international cuisine of the finest standard in authentic settings.


    The tour covers many hard to find and lesser known locations and businesses, which many visitors would not alway hear about, as well as the great locations Weymouth is famous for.


    With 6 hours to use your five tasting experiences ticket codes, this gives ample time to drift between the available locations.

    Choose to try five tasting experiences (meal courses) at the participating businesses.
    Bespoke maps of the town, also accessible on smart phone.
    Public transportation (bus, subway, cable car, etc.)
    A small fee can be paid to cross the harbour by rowing ferry from the Nothe Gardens or Weymouth Pavilion. This is not essential but can help save time walking back to the town bridge.

    Weymouth Pavilion

    Due to its harbour side location, the forecourt of Weymouth Pavilion was in active use during World War Two, specifically for the launching of British and US Army forces travelling to undertake the D-Day landings in Northern France. The E-Bike Cafe is set in this location serving traditional English Cream Teas.

    Nothe Gardens

    This natural open space provides perfect view of Weymouth Bay and Portland Harbour, with views stretching out to the wider Jurassic Coast. The Gardens adjoin the walls of the impressive Nothe Fort.

    King's Statue

    King George the Third was Weymouth's most famous visitor in the 17th century. His presence helped greatly to establish Weymouth as a popular tourist destination, principally for the healing treatment of bathing in the sea. In his honour a grand stature of His Royal Highness remains on the sea front next to his bathing carriage. The Cafe Napoli is at this location.
