Experience Details

You will live one of the highest oenological experiences in the world, where the conditions of the sun, soil and height generate a unique wine. Your adventure begins in the Sala de Ventas, where you will leave behind the conventional to enter the heart of the Andes.

You will witness the magnitude of the Elquin landscape; a course designed for contemplation, where the silence of the mountain is only interrupted by the Andean wind.

Explain the philosophy of biodynamic agriculture, governed by the stars and total respect for the ecosystem.

You will walk through the cellar composed of concrete and wood fudres and enter the RHU portal where the wine library is located.

What You’ll Experience

Vinedos de Alcohuaz

Reception at Height : Travelers will be welcomed in our Sales Room in Alcohuaz, at 1,800 m.a.s.l. From here, we will tour the vineyards until we reach our winery that houses rock tinsels, wooden and concrete fudres and the special cavern and its RHU portal. Guided Height Tasting : As the sky begins to change color, inside the winery we will begin a tasting of 4 glasses of our most awarded wines (Capi, Grus, Tococo and Rhu) paired with local products. The Sunset (Golden Hour): The peak moment occurs when the sun sets behind the hills of the Elqui Valley. Travelers will have time to enjoy the scenery, take spectacular pictures of the Andes and relax in an intimate and exclusive atmosphere. Viticulture Talk: You will learn about our philosophy of minimal intervention and how the extreme climate of Alcohuaz allows to create wines with an unmatched freshness.
