Went with a group of 8 friends and the hosts were very accommodating. Andres was very knowledgeable and explained all about port wine and the Douro region. Great experience overall!

Your certified Port wine sommelier will guide you on an enriching journey, exploring the stories and flavors of the local wine. Enjoy 5 selected premium Port wines harmonized with carefully crafted snacks to delight all tastes. Get to know the flavor profiles of the 3 categories of Port wine, diving into the world of Portuguese wine during a memorable 1-hour experience, during which we will also perform a fire-opening of a bottle of Port wine. Enhance your palate and knowledge, leaving with a delightful sensation.

During the activity, we will taste 5 different Port wines, including some premium ones, all paired with homemade dishes prepared by us. Throughout the experience, we will explain the history and processing methods of all categories of Port wine, and there will be a fire opening of a bottle of Port wine. This entire experience will be conducted and explained by a certified Sommelier.

Helpful, Friendly
The sommelier was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and informative. He didn’t talk down to us and enhanced our knowledge of Ports. He also shared some excellent pours and told us what to look for when buying. Great time.

First class experience in every aspect!
We did 4 Port tastings during our visit in Porto and this one exceeded the others by far. Michel is an exceptional host who is extremely knowledgeable. He took time to ensure that our experience was over the top! I cannot possibly say enough positive things about this choice. Do not pass up this opportunity!
