1-Day Private Wine Tour to Kakheti gives visitors a chance to gain insights about Georgian culture and unique winemaking traditions. You will visit the main wineries & cultural sights in Kakheti region. Visit the small, lovely town of Sighnagi - a city of love - and enjoy with panoramic views over the Caucasus Mountains while tasting one of the best wines in Georgia - organic Okro's Wines. You will also visit a winery Khareba which keeps its wine in the cut off tunnel in the Caucasus mountains range. Afterward, you will visit another major winery in Georgia - Corporation Kindzmarauli which is famous for its semi-sweet red wines.

Winery Khareba

Winery Khareba: Centuries-old of winemaking tradition and special 7,7 tunnel for keeping wine makes this place a marvelous place for wine lovers. Khareba Tunnels were built originally for military purposes during the cold war but in the 1960s turned into wine cellars. The tunnels are cut off in the Caucasus mountains and its massif includes granite surrounded by shale layers. Because of it, any times of the year, the temperature in the tunnel is 10-14 C. Taste 4 different wines of the Khareba winery in the tunnel itself.
