EXCELLENT workshop … I LOVED the cultural lesson of how it’s traditionally shared at home with family and friends and what it means culturally if someone offers you Yerba Matte. This is a MUST DO if you visit.
Aby and Bernie was were so knowledgeable and welcoming! I learned a lot and had a very cozy and fun time! The chipas were delicious!
I did a mate tasting with Aby and I must say it was an incredible experience. Learning about Yerba Mate, its culture and how to prepare it was a complete unique experience and couldn’t recommend it enough! I bought a mini Yerba to bring back home and it’s reminding me of how good the experience was! Would definitely recommend and fantastic value for money.
This was our second experience with Bertie and aby (we had done the wine tasting the evening before). We had a great time learning about Yerba mate and it made the rest of our trip better as well! We bought a set and plenty of mate to bring home. We drank some mate on the mountains of bariloche later on and had the proper customs down!
I learned so much about Yerba mate and ate the most delicious homemade pastries. The dog is super cute and will say hi to you. Abi sent me the recipes for the pastries after, which she totally did not need to do, and I will definitely not make them as well as her, but I am looking forward to bringing home a piece of authentic Argentine culture back to my country. She left us with a card to remind us how to make maté, so you don’t have to write everything down.
