It was a wonderful experience that I highly recommend. I got a great insight into Japanese cuisine and daily life. Saykaks was very hospitable and warm. The food was delicious and made for a great ending. I would book the cooking class again.

This class was incredible! Takako-San is so knowledgeable and explains all of the ingredients and recipes so well. Such a wonderful experience in her home, I would highly recommend for anyone who loves Japanese food. Book this for your next Tokyo trip!

We had a great time at the mochi making class. Not only did we learn how to make mochi, Sakura also taught us the history of mochi. We highly recommend this class.

We had a very educational and fun time learning to make tofu with Marie. She is a patient teacher and it’s very clear she has a lot of experience! Would highly recommend.

Enjoyed a fun experience with Ryo trying some food combinations from different convenience stores. Ryo provided lots of information about the different stores and how people use them. It definitely gives you the confidence to use konbinis and know where to buy different items. Highly recommended!

Have you been eating ramen all of your life and not have a clue how it’s made? If so, I highly recommend signing up and learning all about ramen. The class was both fascinating and informative. Our guide (and store manager) Mitsuyo, gave us a great behind-the-scenes presentation of how they make their Michelin awarded ramen (without giving away any trade secrets, of course). I would have never imagined how much thought and creativity went into what seems like a humble bowl of noodles. They are obsessed with making the best bowl of ramen on planet Earth.
