Description
Known as one of Japan’s three most famous udon noodle varieties, Inaniwa udon is a specialty of Yuzawa City in Akita Prefecture.
Tomiya Shoten has been planning and selling original Inaniwa udon since the late Showa period, and has been commended for its elastic and strong texture.

Dating back about 400 years ago, this regional type of udon was made from high-quality wheat grown by the villagers in Inaniwa, and presented to their feudal lord. Today, it is considered the most luxurious udon in Japan. Wrapped up in elegant bundles, Tomiya Shoten's Inaniwa udon makes a lovely gift or souvenir. Shelf life of udon: Up to 730 days (may vary depending on shipping timing) Contents: 200g x 4 Yuzawa Akinomiya's nameko mushrooms are sold in Tomiya Shoten's original package. Rich in natural flavor, they are collected in the Akinomiya Plateau region at the foot of Mount Kurikoma in the southernmost part of Akita Prefecture. Nameko mushrooms are said to have a variety of nutrients that help improve the health and beauty of the skin, as well as the digestive system. Yuzawa Akinomiya’s nameko mushrooms are grown directly from beech, horse chestnut, and itaya (Japanese maple) trees in the backcountry, and are of nearly comparable quality to naturally-occurring nameko mushrooms. Year after year, the amount of production has been decreasing and nameko mushrooms are now prized as a precious commodity. Please enjoy the aroma of wild mushrooms, which are distinct from the type commonly available at the supermarket. Shelf life of nameko mushrooms: Up to 3 years (may vary depending on shipping timing) Contents: 200g x 3
