+8 photosWonderful setting in the castle. Would recommend getting the funicular up. Host was extremely knowledgeable and informative about the wines. A wide variety of Slovenian wines. None disappointed but the last 2 were exceptional and we were lucky to find our favourite ar the airport.
We had a climb up to the castle again which we hadn’t factored in. However it was well worth it. The guide was excellent. It was two hours filled with lots of information and fun and a great activity to spend with a group of strangers that slowly after a couple of sips of wine you become better acquainted with.
We truly enjoyed this wine tasting. We had a great host who educated us on many interesting things about Slovenian wine and Slovenia in general. There were 12 people on the tour, so it was a great size. The wines and company were enjoyable!

We had a wonderful experience with Sara. We were late to our tasting due to a tour we took before hand. They were so understanding and accommodating it turned a very stressful situation into a very pleasant, informative and enjoyable experience!! Highly recommend this wine tasting.
