Great day!! Great guide ❤️

We had a wonderful day with Nina. She's very knowledgeable and really fun to spend the day with. We booked a small tour but got lucky and we ended up with a private tour. She took us to a monastery and then we stopped in another small town first explain all the history and culture, and we ended up at a beautiful church at the end. Then she took us in the Maribor and gave us a wonderful City tour showed us all the sites and where things were. We then headed out on our own and did the tour of the ...read more

Thank you, Alexandria, this is wonderful to read, and lucky you having the day to yourselves. Maribor and Štajerska are a quieter, richer side of Slovenia, the monastery, the little towns, the underground cellar and the world's oldest vine, and we are so glad the pace let you do it all without rushing. Those unhurried chats on the drive back are often where the country really sinks in. Thank you for such a lovely day out with us.

Great trip and Value for money

We thoroughly enjoyed our day out with Slovenia Explorer guide Nina. It was a good trip. On our way We saw 12th century Monastery which was really good. We stopped at Slovenskia Koniceze and the cute little town and it was well worth it Maribor was exceptional. We had our lunch there and did 3 hour walking tour including looking at the square, post office with its history during the war, 400 year old wine tree, 300 year old wine cellar which was amazing.

Thank you so much, this is wonderful to read. Maribor and the Štajerska countryside are a quieter side of Slovenia that many visitors miss, so we are really glad Slovenska Konjice, the 12th-century monastery, the old vine and that 300-year-old cellar all left their mark, and that Maribor itself was the standout. Value for money is a lovely thing to hear too, that balance is exactly what we aim for. Thank you for spending the day with us.

Disappointing Customer Service, Preferential Treatment, and Poor Complaint Handling

While the tour itself was generally enjoyable, my overall experience with this company was significantly undermined by what I perceived as unprofessional conduct by one of the guides and, subsequently, by the company's complete failure to address a legitimate customer complaint. During our return journey from the Maribor tour, the other participant requested to be dropped off directly at her hotel rather than at the designated drop-off point. The guide initially responded ambiguously, stating t...read more

Dear Tony, thank you, and we are sorry. You wrote to us twice and heard nothing, and you were right to be frustrated by that. We have since found that both of your messages were caught in our email spam folder, unseen, which is entirely our failing, and we have now reached out to you directly to apologise properly and put it right. Being responsive is something we genuinely pride ourselves on, so fixing how this slipped past us matters to us. On the day itself, there was never any intention to treat one guest differently from another, and we are sorry it felt that way. Thank you for your patience, and we would be glad to welcome your family back another time.
