Join a 3-hour Moroccan Cooking Class in Marrakech. Craft tajines, enjoy a tea ceremony, and support women's empowerment, amidst serene garden surroundings at Amal Center.

Experience Details
Your hosts at the Amal Center will help you recreate authentic Moroccan dishes cooked the traditional way. Choose from a variety of favorite tajines including chicken with preserved lemon, beef or lamb with prunes and almonds, fish or vegetarian. You can even make sophisticated chicken pastilla or couscous for a small extra fee.
The best part - besides the amazing food - is that you are helping support a valuable non-profit cause: empowering women from disadvantaged backgrounds through culinary training and job placement.
Our cooking class setting is one-of-a-kind, with a dedicated workshop in our beautiful, peaceful garden, an oasis of peace in a busy city!
During the class, while our tajines simmer over charcoal, we'll have a traditional Moroccan tea ceremony. It is a chance to be together and talk about the work Amal has been doing over the last 11 years to empower women and serve the community.
