Most of visitors always spend there time in touristic restaurants they never have the chance to try some local menus that a true local live on. These places are deep in the old medina and it is difficult to find by your own, so as this matter concer me I have came with this experience to promote our own traditions and to help tourists mingle in The alleys of old Medina.

First stop we are going to try Moroccan pancakes (Msmen) and Moroccan soup (Harira). And then will try the most famous dish in Marrakesh (Tangia), and roasted meat (Meshwi) along with a visit of the undergroud ovan where the Meshwi is made. We will also have Bastila, and some Sardine burgers, and we will end up with some Moroccan pasteries and fresh juices.

Excellent way to kick off our first visit to Marrakech!

Brilliant fun food tour

Our tour was at 1830 and so we saw the area in the daylight and at night which was great. We tried foods which we would not have eaten if we didn’t have our wonderful guide to help us. Souhel was a great guide, we went to some great places, he was very helpful and great fun.

Fabulous

Our host for the tour was a lovely young man named Mohammed who arrived promptly on time. He was so informative about the local area and its history and of course about the foods of the region. We were taken to different areas of the Medina where we tasted regional cuisine and gave us a great tour of areas we would never have found. Our top tip would be to do this early in your trip so you get your bearings!
