Adapted to the kids ages our story teller introduces the myths of Hercules and the long history of Nemea.

The kids participate in a cooking class preparing traditional dishes.

Venikos Wine Window, Wine Tours & Tastings

A special tour for schools, families and other groups traveling with kids to the mythic land of Nemea. The region Nemea, famous for the myths of Hercules and its Agiorgitiko wine is only a short ride of little more than 1h from Athens away.

Archaeological Museum of Nemea

First stop is at the archaeological site of Nemea with the temple of Zeus and the ancient stadium. The kids will have a short introduction to the Nemean games and have the possibility to run in the ancient Stadium like the athletes did 3000 years ago. We then sit down and listen to the story of Hercules and the Nemean Lion told by our professional storyteller in the stunning environment of the ancient site.

Wisdom of Nature - Nikos Bouzinelos & Sofia Gastounioti O.E.

The tour continuous to Koutsi where you will visit an organic vinegar producer. The kids will learn about organic cultivation and vinegar production. Of course they have the chance to taste some balsamic vinegar. Together with a local chef the kids will prepare a part of their picnic. Easy cooked traditional recipes like “Moustokouloura”, Tiganopsoma or bread baked in our old style wood oven. Depending on the season they will pick up fresh rocket salad, grapes or other ingredients to prepare a nice salad. Together we enjoy a rich picnic with the freshly cooked delicacies and other fine Mezzes while looking over the beautiful Nemean valley.
