Agafay Desert, Atlas Mountains and Camel ride Day Trip from Marrakech

Head to the Agafay Desert for a unique dining experience. Enjoy dinner under the stars, as the sun sets over the sand dunes. Sample local food as a freshly prepared tagine is served to you, followed up by pastries and tea. AGAFAY DESERT: The excursion starts in the morning from Marrakech and your first adventure will be at Agafay, the closest desert to Marrakech. A hilly barren landscape in the foothills of the Atlas, the Agafay Desert is a playground for quad bikers and buggy enthusiasts with a backdrop of often snow-capped peaks. In Imlil, you start a walk with the guide to Aremd village (1900 meters). On the way, you will be able to see traditional Berber villages and see the highest peak in the North of Africa, Jbel Toubkal (4167 meters). In winter Toubkal will be covered with snow and it will be a beautiful sight to see in the distance. After about 1 – 1.5 hours you will go to a local guesthouse to have a wonderful lunch. From here you will have a beautiful view of the Mizane Valley. After lunch, it will be a 30-minute walk back to Imlil.
