You will be picked up at your hotel in Chania by our driver around 15:30 – 16:00. After a scenic ride by air-conditioned minibus/minivan to the White Mountains you will have a cooking class and will prepare some traditional and very tasty home-made Cretan dishes and appetizers like “Ntakos” and “Tzatziki”. Tour around the family house and garden, taste wine combined with cheese platters in Cretan varieties, and enjoy the magnificent views of the cottage to the sea and the mountain. When the dinner will be ready you will taste your own dishes with local wine. The tour will end with a return back to your hotel.

Outstanding Cultural Experience

Thoroughly enjoyed an evening of cooking, eating, and wine tasting while immersed in the Cretan culture thanks to our outstanding guide and family cooks. We were transported by van to a family home with working farm in a village nearby Chania. The menu featured simple traditional Cretan fare which we all participated in preparing.
