Authentic and fun
Lovely, delicious and practical. It was a fun bonding activity for the team and I walked away feeling that I might be able to make an Indian meal! Jyoti is hilarious as well.

Spend a memorable day with Jyoti cooking up a delicious Indian meal in her beautiful home in New Delhi. Through the 3-4 hour experience, Jyoti will take you through the various traditions around food and culture that embody India, along with holistic healing which forms such an important part of Indian cuisine.
We recommend you do this experience in the first half of your India trip - learning about India with Jyoti can be incredibly interesting and helpful for rest of your travels through India. If you found us late, don't fret - no better way to end your India travels!
Jyoti has been hosting travel experiences for over 15 years, and has been featured in travel guidebooks from around the world.

Make your travels more interesting by cooking your favourite Indian dishes with Jyoti at her home in the heart of Delhi.
You'll learn to cook Jyoti's traditional family dishes from North India which have been passed on generations. Jyoti will also teach you key techniques which will make it very easy to replicate these dishes back home!
You also eat in typical Indian style ‘thalis’ which add a great deal to the experience. Let Jyoti take you through different customs and cultures that embody India! (Lunch/dinner)

Fantastic Indian Cookery Class
We booked an Indian cooking experience with "Gourmet Desire" 10 years ago which we attended in August 2016. Jyoti (our tutor) was fantastic, her knowledge of traditional Indian food is immense, she is a lovely lady, very patient, polite, funny and the best host of all time. We met Jyoti at the INA market where she showed us around various stalls including her favourite grocery and spice store, where she explained the ingredients used for which dishes and homeopathy. An outstanding evening with Joyti. Such pleasant company and perfect teaching. We have learnt so much and won’t hesitate to recommend this event. In fact you are missing out if you don’t do it. We will be using the recipes the day after we return home.

Delicious, Delightful, I’d Do It Again
Jyoti’s class included education about Indian cuisine and a delicious meal which we helped prepare. She was able to accommodate our multiple food sensitivities. Jyoti entertained us in her home, and her friendliness and ease with foreigners made us feel right at home. I would do it again!
