This tour is a deep dive into one of Yucatán’s most authentic social traditions: the cantina. This is not a typical bar crawl, it’s a cultural experience where every stop tells a story rooted in history, humor, and everyday local life. The cantinas in Merida are very fun and traditional establishments where Meridans go to have some drinks while having some "botanas" (snacks) and listening to popular music in a very friendly environment. Get to experience this atmosphere on this walking tour where everybody is friends with everybody.

A wonderful experience from start to finish!

had an amazing food and bar hopping tour in Mérida! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the local culture and cuisine. Every stop was carefully chosen, and we got to taste delicious regional specialties and excellent cocktails. The guide made the experience fun, informative, and unforgettable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mérida!

Meridian bar hop

Our bar hopping experience was an amazing time. What really made the trip was our guide Romina. She was so knowledgeable, fun and friendly. She made us feel the ease. The food at each of the places especially our first stop was incredible. We so enjoyed the Yucatan and Meridian flavors. Would definitely come again. Amazing city!

Fun and informitive afternoon im Merida. With lots of local food.

This was a wonderful afternoon for my wife and I. The drinks were cold, the food was delicous, and the young lady who was our tour guide was wonderful. We learned a lot about the local "snacks" and found some fun Cantinas with great atmosphere.

Perfect afternoon in Merida

My wife and I had a great experience bar hopping with our guide, Zulma. She was extremely knowledgeable about the places we went and the city of Merida and made us feel at home. The cantinas we visited give you so much food with the drinks that it felt like more of a combination food tour and bar tour! Highly recommended to experience some local Yucatecan culture with a few drinks!

Day drinking with Diego

We had such a fun afternoon with Deigo! Don’t let the description fool you, this tour is equally about the cantina drinks and snacks (bocadillos). You will eat… a lot. Diego was a wonderful and entertaining guide full of stories and life experiences that he eagerly shared with us. There was never a dull moment with him.
