We have selected the 5 best dishes in the 5 best places in the markets of Mérida. Furthermore, as a guide and as a Mayan, I know first-hand the dishes and ingredients to make your experience on this tour special. It is a tour of great quality and great flavor. On this fantastic taco tour you will visit 5 emblematic places to taste 5 different tacos from the great gastronomy of Yucatan. It's delicious . Some dishes are cooked underground for 8 hours. It is a very good experience. We will visit 3 emblematic markets in the city of Mérida, where there are countless taquerias; However, we have selected the 5 best taquerias in Mérida. First we will be at the union taqueria to taste the cochinita pibil (there are also vegetarian dishes). Then we will move to the García Rejón market to taste Relleno Negro tacos, then to the Eulogio Rosado park to taste Chicharra tacos (fried pork skin) and to top it all off, at the Lucas de Gálvez market we will eat panuchos and asado tacos. In the same market we will taste typical Yucatan sweets. Advantage !

Great Private Taco Experience in Merida!

I was fortunate to sign up for the Private Taco Experience in Merida with Gabriel as the guide. He took us to some of his favorite taquerias and I appreciated trying his own personal favorites. Gabriel was knowledgeable about the history and politics of Merida, which made the tour even more interesting. I highly recommend this experience!

Great taco experience

I had a great time. Gabriel was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took my preferences into account and I was able to try 5 different kinds of taco, including some from the local markets. Also a good opportunity to learn more about Merida from a local's perspective. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who has a couple hours to spare.

Gabriel was knowledgeable,entertaining and very pleasant tour guide. The places he took us to were very unique and food was great.

Excellent taco tasting tour

Our Private Taco Tour Experience was excellent. Gabriel brought us to five different places to taste tacos that were different and represent Yucatan ingredients and cooking methods. Gabriel was friendly, informative and professional. The overall walk was not too far.
