Everything was lovely, the host, the group, the location, and of course the wine. Irene was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the region and what makes the wine special.

Join an unforgettable wine experience in the heart of Bilbao. Discover 5 amazing local wines (whites and red), each carefully selected to showcase the variety and style of wines available in the Basque region and surroundings- Rioja and Txakoli
You'll learn everything about the tradition of our local wines, what and how to order when you are in the local bars and to understand how important are the different type of soils and climate for the identity of each varietal. Each wine will be paired with dried meats and/or cheeses!
The tastings are hosted in our warm and inviting tasting room in downtown Bilbao as part of our wine bar Gastronomía Bilbao, the perfect plan if you want a little bit of wine education or a break to meet more wine lovers!

Erg leuk!
Dit was een top ervaring! We kregen veel informatie over de wijnen en het was leuk om alles te horen en zelf proberen te ruiken en te proeven. De combinatie met het hapje erbij waren ook heel goed. Daarna nog in het restaurant gegeken waar we uitstekend zijn geholpen en ook heerlijk nog hebben gegeten

This was a great night, it is only a short experience, not a tour but a brilliant experience all the same. We had a wonderful host that wowed us with her knowledge and talent with wine and food. This consisted of some cheese and cured meats. It was not quantity here but quality, they were selected with 5 wines, 3 white and two red, all from the local area. honestly this was an incredible introduction to the basque region and the wines of the area, Irene was so wonderful, I did this my first day in Bilbao and fear I may have spoiled myself for the rest of my trip
