Just Opened! Our incredible ocean-front property has been exclusively available to private retreats, and we are opening it up for cruise passengers for the first time. We have a private jetty, amazing ocean-front massage cabanas, incredible yoga teachers, highly-skilled professional massage therapists and food that is not only delicious but also healing and nutritious. You'll get endless coconuts right from our trees and relax by our private pool. No crowds. No merchants hassling you. Just the calm of our serene, exclusive retreat center. Enjoy the tranquility of our private beachfront sanctuary, complete with access to an oceanfront pool, paddle boards, yoga classes, refreshing coconut water and more. Savor delicious local-inspired food and unwind in shaded palapas or hammocks. Optional add-ons, include massages, herbal baths, ice baths and guided snorkeling trips, provide opportunities for deeper relaxation and exploration.

After arriving in Mahahual, walk or ride a short taxi transfer to your exclusive eco-retreat on the Caribbean shore. Your day begins with a welcome wellness drink and beach lounge chair, followed by a choice of wellness offerings: perhaps join an opitonal gentle yoga or movement session, time to relax by the water or in a hammock under the palms. Enjoy healthy gourmet vegetarian breakfast and lunch with fresh local produce, tropical fruits, and a fresh-pressed juice. In the afternoon you can borrow snorkeling gear, paddleboard or kayak, dip in the water, or simply unwind with a book or nap under a palapa. Finish your day with fresh coconut water and a mindful closing stretch before returning to your ship or accommodations.

Just Book It!

Despite a wave of sargassum coming ashore, my sister & I had a lovely visit to Mahai! Our host and her staff went beyond to ensure we had a wonderful visit. Delicious food, a beautiful pool & a relaxing Yoga class made for a perfect getaway from the busy hustle of the Costa Maya port area. Highly recommend a day or extended stay here! We definitely plan a return in the fall to enjoy the kayaking and explore the offshore reef.

Genuine and Perfect Retreat

Had the most incredible time at Mahai retreat. You can feel and see the amount of love, care and effort that was put into this place- brick by brick! 1. Relaxing

Stayed here with close friends and had a wonderful time. The area was very secluded and the atmosphere was amazing. Spectacular food and wonderful staff throughout the trip. Would go again in a heartbeat any day!

The best day ever! We will be back!

My friends and I booked a day pass at Mahai Retreat during our stop in Costa Maya, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Everything was seamless, transportation to and from the port was arranged for us, and we were welcomed with a delicious breakfast (in such a beautiful space) to begin our day.
