Baijia Restaurant (North Gate)

Bai Jia Da Yuan, a 300-year-old Prince Li’s Mansion from the Qing Dynasty, is one of Beijing’s best-preserved imperial gardens and a municipal cultural relic. Explore red lacquer gates, painted beams, palace lantern corridors, rockeries, koi ponds, pavilions and lush gardens with seasonal blooms. Staff in Qing-style costumes greet guests with “Nin Ji Xiang” (Greetings) and address visitors as “Prince” or “Princess”. Evening shows feature palace dances, Sichuan face-changing, Peking Opera and ancient music. Visit historic halls like Yin’an Hall and Yulan Hall, and savor imperial cuisine such as Buddha Jumps Over the Wall.
