What wonderful experience to be taken to the nursery to see the plants and then go through the process of how chocolate was made . A hands on experience of roasting and grinding the cacao beans. Lots of cacao tasting in the process . Cacao tea drinking and cacao chocolate drinking . Lovely little shop where you can buy some cacao products too
A very nice discovery and experience. Arriving at the farm you are given a tree to plant. You chew a little in the cocoa plantation, up to the place and there everyone plants their cocoa tree with a sign in their name. Once you're done, you come back to the farm and we explain the culture. From planting, harvesting, processing and tasting. Everything is explained! Collection of various varieties of pods. This was a wonderful experience to see how chocolate is made from planting the Cacao tree to harvesting and making of the chocolate. This is a hands-on experience which is highly recommended for all chocolate lovers! Tours can be experienced in the Chocolate Farm in Bohol, Philippines.

Absolutely worth a visit, even though it is two hours away from Panglao. The guide Ryan was very knowledgeable and excellent at giving the story from cacao sprout to high class chocolate. He even went to pick some fresh passionfruit for our daughter when he learned that she loves the fruit. Although the farm was closed they made it possible for us to visit anyway! Best tour ever! Would totally recommend. Pick-up was right on time, driver was extremely nice and informative. Once at the farm it feels like a completely different world. Location is amazing, host was really nice and welcoming. Picked the fruit, processed it till we had our own chocolate.
