Stop for a bustling wet market experience and a taste of Cebu’s king, the “lechon” (roasted pig). Stop at Simala Shrine, dedicated to the Virgen Mary
and known for its castle-like structure standing on a hill and with a beautiful collection of Marian statues and healing testimonies. Go further south and dip your hands in torta making, a traditional sponge cake with origins way back in the Spanish colonial era.
