LocaLocal is not your everyday Tel Aviv food tour. It is a slice of real Tel Aviv. It is a truly local experience, a way for you to use all of your senses and connect intimately with the local culture and food. Together we'll explore the neighborhood, learn it's secrets spots that only the locals know, meet interesting people that live and work in the neighborhood, and taste a few iconic dishes in restaurants in the area. By the end of the day, you will know about Tel Aviv (and especially Kerem HaTeimanim neighborhood), experience the local Carmel Market to its fullest and most importantly, have a belly full of authentic Israeli food.

Explore and get to know Kerem Hateymanim neighborhood and Carmel Market area through your taste buds. The tour will include 8-10 tastings in different restaurants and market stalls, introducing traditional dishes alongside new innovative places around the market. The tour usually starts at 11:00 and takes about 3 hours. It replaces lunch. The tasting may be subject to change due to changes in the opening hours of the different stops.

Delicious and fascinating food tour

Tal is a highly engaging, super knowledgeable and very friendly guide. She appears to know absolutely everyone in Levinski Market, with fascinating stories of stores, people and how multiple generations of families continue to bring life and vibrancy to the market and local area. The five of us had amazing food and drinks from Persia, Georgia, Japan and Israel, as well as an array of incredible Ashkenazi delicacies from Lupo. An amazing experience!

We had an amazing food/history/culture tour of the Carmel Market and neighborhood! Tal was so knowledgeable and we learned a lot of interesting things. Also, the food and drinks we had were absolutely delicious! We loved this tour and would highly recommend it to others.

High Value Added to Carmel Market Visit by joining Tal !!

Tal is very friendly and knowledgeable about the local culture and history! We enjoyed the trip so much and felt like making a local friend in Tel Aviv! We also love the food and drinks she brought us to! So much better than visiting Carmel Market on our own! Highly recommend!

Great afternoon in the Carmel Market

Spent the afternoon with Tal at the Carmel Market. She is exceptionally knowledgeable about the area and took us to some great spots in the market for tastings that we would have never found in our own-highly recommend if u are in Tel Aviv!
