+27 photosJosue did a really great job in explaining the history and the process of making chocolate. It was a very fun and interesting workshop. We tried chocolate tea, learned how to distinguish real and fake chocolate and made our own chocolate drinks and chocolate pralines. Even though we were only with the two of us, Josue did the workshop for us. And everything smells soo good! Can definitely recommend!

We discovered Chaqchao Organic Chocolate in Arequipa thanks to our travel designer, and it turned out to be one of the most beautiful and unexpected stops of our trip, perfect for both us adults and our 8-year-old son. I have been to chocolate workshops in Mexico and Costa Rica, but this class in Arequipa, Peru was by far the most interesting and fun. Andres is an outstanding instructor. He is super knowledgeable, an engaging presenter, and made sure we were enjoying the workshop.
