What You’ll Experience

Discover authentic Sichuan cuisine at The Source · Nine Dragons (源味九龙), a traditional countryside courtyard near Qingcheng Mountain and Panda Valley. Begin with a visit to a local market to learn about fresh ingredients, Sichuan spices, and local food culture. Your cooking class will be led by a renowned Sichuan culinary master who is a Chinese Culinary Master, Sichuan Cuisine expert, national culinary judge, and mentor to professional chefs. Under expert guidance, learn to prepare four classic Sichuan dishes: • Kung Pao Chicken • Mapo Tofu • Twice-Cooked Pork • Fish-Flavored Shredded Pork You’ll gain practical cooking skills while discovering the techniques and flavors that define Sichuan cuisine. After cooking, enjoy the meal you’ve prepared in the peaceful courtyard setting. The experience also includes a traditional Kung Fu Tea performance and tea tasting. An authentic Sichuan Opera face-changing and fire-spitting performance can also be arranged in advance (optional). This immersive experience combines food, culture, and local traditions for a memorable introduction to Sichuan life.
