We kick off the day at 8:15 AM with a warm welcome drink at our meeting point located at 98 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street in the heart of Hoi An Ancient Town. Our adventure begins with a visit to Hoi An's bustling main market, where you'll engage with local vendors and explore the diverse array of delectable foods on display. Following our market exploration, we embark on a leisurely 25-minute cruise along the picturesque Hoi An River. This scenic journey offers a glimpse into the daily life along the riverbanks. Upon reaching the cooking school, we delve into the school's herb and vegetable garden, getting acquainted with the ingredients that make Hoi An and Vietnam's renowned dishes so special. Our cooking lesson, which spans approximately 2 hours, begins with a chef-led demonstration of each dish, providing valuable insights and techniques. Afterward, it's your turn to recreate the dishes under the guidance of our expert chef. As an added bonus, you'll receive a brief introduction to the art of Vietnamese food carving for plate decoration. Once the cooking session concludes, we gather together to enjoy the fruits of our labor, savoring the very dishes we prepared.
