STELLA CHENG, the founder of s+clicks design, is a local designer-artist. She is passionate in traditional Chinese art and culture and is particularly skillful in presenting ancient art and culture with a contemporary touch and in creative forms. Aside from design works, Stella also spends time in understanding of local art and culture and has had several related topics exhibitions. Stella is also a gifted writer and has been invited to publish a few books on art and culture. Her diverse interest and knowledge is one of the reasons which make her designs so unique.

***Lamma Cultural Walk & Hands-On Dumpling Wrapping Workshop*** Part I (1 hour) - This cultural walk is arranged by Stella, who is a local designer-artist and is a resident on the Island. - Experience this beautiful and unique Island of HK, with no cars, no chain stores, beautiful natural views, and friendly people... - Lamma Island has about 7000 residents from 80 cities around the world, so to understand its history and unique “local-international culture”, our tour route is not the one general tourists will take. - Visit a village which was established over a hundred years ago, including its Ancestral Hall and an old hidden well... - Get to know the unique Island lifestyle. Part II (2 hours) - Visit our little herb garden - Prepare Dumpling filings - Learn different wrapping styles, e.g. classic, goldfish, rose, bag ... - Create your own dumpling shapes - Steam & enjoy our dumpling meal - Enjoy a leisure meal time with a designer-artist and other participants (if any) in our beautiful garden. SPECIAL REQUESTS: - You can request vegetable only filling - Available for a private class for couples or groups of friends, individuals, or a party

Great way to see another side of Hong Kong AND learn to make dumplings!

We enjoyed our trip to Lamma Island, meeting Stella and learning to make dumplings with her! It was a super hot day and this excursion was near the end of our trip. We ended up just not being about to do the last part of the walking tour because the temp was just too much for us. Stella was able to roll with our requested change with no problems!
