Our driver is a local resident of the Douro. He will be able to share his knowledge of the region's history, as well as the best wines, the best viewpoints and some small, lesser-known traditional Wine Estates where there are no stampedes of tourists.

One of the suggestions we make to our clients is a stop in the town of Sabrosa. This town is famous for being home to some of the region's best-known wine estates. We suggest, for example, visiting Quinta do Portal, Quinta Nova, Quinta do Crasto or the Adega dos Lavradores de Feitoria.

Miradouro Torguiano De Sao Cristovao Do Douro

Another of our suggestions is a stop at one of the Douro's most emblematic viewpoints, the Miradouro de São Cristóvão, distinguished by Miguel Torga for its magnificent landscape resulting from the work of man over the years, and which is now classified as a World Heritage Site by Unesco.

Cais do Pinhão

We highly recommend a visit to the village of Pinhão, better known as the Heart of the Douro. We might even suggest that you take a short trip along the Douro River in a traditional Rabelo Boat, just like the ones once used to transport Port wine. Take the opportunity to contemplate the beautiful wine-growing landscape made up of vineyards and schist terraces.
