Join us on this unique tour of the Douro Valley created exclusively for you and your group. Travel in the company of an experienced local guide and discover the richness and true essence of the region. Visit three wineries where you will learn about the production of different types of wine with tastings of Port and DOC Douro wines. Enjoy a typical Portuguese lunch at a local restaurant in the village of Pinhão, where you will still visit the old train station and its magnificent walls of handcrafted tiles that portray the beauty of the region.

Possibility of vegetarian or gluten free meal, please advise at time of booking if required;
Pick ups may start at 8:00 AM;
We send the exact pick-up time by mail the evening before the tour takes place - please confirm reception of message and be ready for pick-up to avoid delays.
Douro Valley's temperature is very high in the summer and cold in the winter. Thus, light clothes in summer and warm clothes in the winter are recommended;
Weather Note: All of our activities happen in covered and protected spaces - we guarantee a safe and comfortable tour despite any weather conditions.
Note: Visits at the wineries are not fully private and are open to external participants.

Amazing private wine tour of the Douro valley

Amazing experience. Douro valley is breathtaking. I did a private tour for two and it was incredible. Eduardo is an amazing tour guide, he made it such a fun experience for me and my partner. Definitely request him if you can. Great wines and breathtaking views

Great Trip in the Douro - Don’t miss it!!!

This was beyond what we could have hoped for, let alone expected. If you are even considering this tour, commit. Now! We have been on numerous wine tours and tastings around several continents, but this was our first in Portugal and the Douro. This was without a doubt the best yet. Absolutely the best!

This was an amazing tour - two things in advance - make a lunch reservation and do bring water! Having said that, our exceptional guide, Eduardo, arranged for both for us. We have done tours literally around the world with different providers, and this was our first trip to Porto and the Douro River. Perfect day in the Douro Valley

We had an amazing private tour of the Douro Valley with Luis. He was so much fun and had great energy for a day of wine touring. He was also very knowledgeable about the area and was excellent about checking on us and making sure we were comfortable.
