It's where Greeks relax, connect, make decisions and feel like they belong — over a cup of coffee. You'll explore the origins of coffee, from the green bean to your cup, and learn how coffee became a huge part of Greek modern life. You'll start with green, unroasted beans, barely recognisable as coffee. You'll follow the roasting, watch the colour shift and the workshop fill with the kind of smell that makes people stop talking for a second. The beans are then ground by hand and brewed slowly in a briki, buried in hot sand — the way it's been done in Greek homes for generations. You'll finish with a Greek coffee, a glass of tsipouro, and loukoumi — the way it's done in the monasteries of Halkidiki to this day. There's a little gift from us too.
