Start your culinary journey at Mae Somchit Kata Fresh Market, where you will explore a lively traditional market filled with fresh vegetables, tropical fruits, aromatic herbs, spices, and other ingredients essential to Thai cuisine. Walking through the market with your instructor is a truly eye-opening experience and a great introduction to Thai food culture. After the market visit, the experience continues with a hands-on cooking class where you will learn to prepare authentic Thai dishes step by step. One of the highlights is making curry paste from scratch using fresh herbs and spices with a traditional mortar and pestle. You will also learn about the preparation of coconut milk and how it is used in many Thai recipes.

Best cooking experience

Absolutely fantastic Chef April was so knowledgeable I was solo on this trip and the dishes were amazing to cook definitely do this if you in phuket location was beautiful and awesome setting!

Favorite Thai Experience!

Amazing experience! Our chef, April, was lovely and patient. She was fun and kept us laughing. This was one of my favorite experiences of my whole 2 1/2 week trip! Well worth it.
