Learn more about Vietnamese culture through its food during this fun cooking class activity. Before heading to the kitchen you’ll tour Hoi An’s fresh produce market to select the ingredients you’ll cook with. Then, set sail up the river in a bamboo basket boat and try fishing for crabs the Vietnamese way. In the kitchen, enjoy a two-hour cooking class and learn new skills. Enjoy eating your creations after.

What You’ll Experience

The real name of the coconut palm village is Cam Thanh with located just 6 km from Hoi An. Visit Cam Thanh water coconut village to experience an exciting basket boat ride. Enjoy the special performance by skillful local basket boat riders. And you also have chance to go to the market to pick up the food, prepare and try your hand at cooking Vietnamese cuisine. 08:30 - Local guide pick up at the hotel in Hoi An Town - Go to market with our chef (about 30 minutes) - We will have a chance to see and experience the noise as well as directly contact sellers. In addition to this, we will show the ingredients for use in our lesson. 09:15- Transfer to Cam Thanh village by car or boat on the way, you can explore the beautiful views of the Vietnamese countryside, and see the water and coconut trees growing together. Enjoy your time with basket boat rowing through the coconut jungle forest. 11:00- Enjoy a welcome drink and take a rest at our restaurant, then join the cooking class. Our chef will teach you how to cook some local food. After the lesson, enjoy what you have cooked. 13:00- Return to your hotel. Tour ends.
