Your host, Hiroshi, will take you to the best of the best–hop between several izakayas, feasting on food and sinking some cold ones as you go. Hiroshi hails from Otsu, neighboring Kyoto. His early years were a medley of sports–volleyball, rugby, swimming, and diving. He explored over 20 countries, residing temporarily in Germany, Denmark, and Canada, while also refining his skills as a sushi chef. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in marine biology at Kyoto University, Hiroshi is passionate about ocean conservation. Becoming a guide was driven by his empathy for travelers navigating foreign lands. Hiroshi finds joy in showcasing Kyoto's charm and beyond, aiming to leave visitors with a memorable impression of Japan. Navigating Kyoto's nightlife isn't just about the venues; it's about the stories they hold and the memories they create.
