Languedoc Vineyard Tours

SUMMER During the summer months from April to the end of September half day tours will start at 0830 leaving from Carcassonne and returning to Carcassonne to finish at with a light lunch and wines at the shop at 1300. Guests are chauffeured in a luxury air-conditioned Volvo XC90 4x4. Guests booking the full day excursion will have a lunch at a top local restaurant followed by a cultural visit and / or a further winery visit returning to Carcassonne around 1800. Guests will visit two wineries in the morning and have the opportunity to taste and discover at least 12 different wines from some of the most important and notable producers in the region. Your guide will provide a full initiation into the history of wine in the region, an introduction to the art of wine making and how to taste and appreciate wines. We will present wines in the vineyard and at the wine cellar. There will be time for some visits to historic sites, with a light lunch of delicious cheeses and Charcuterie accompanied by local wines. All wines tasted will be available for guests to purchase at a special rate after the tour.
