What You’ll Experience

Immerse yourself in an authentic culinary experience in Lecce, the baroque capital of Apulia. Your host will greet you with a welcome aperitif featuring typical Salento products, followed by a refreshing Leccese Coffee, a traditional Salento drink made with almond milk and ice. As you sip, enjoy a hands-on cooking session where you’ll learn to make fresh pasta. Combine simple ingredients with passion to create Orecchiette and Maccheroni al Ferretto (using the traditional pasta tool). Under the guidance of a local chef, you'll also prepare two delicious sauces: a classic fresh tomato sauce and a chickpea and vegetable topping. Afterward, enjoy the fruits of your labor during a convivial dinner, complete with homemade bread, a traditional dessert, and homemade limoncello. Toast with local red, rosé, and white wines to celebrate this unforgettable experience. Get the recipes and your ferretto pasta tool to continue your cooking adventure back at home!
