Local Wine Tour and Tasting in Hokkaido

There are so many unexpected gems in Hokkaido to visit, including the local wineries and distilleries. In this experience, you will first visit Housui Winery in Iwamizawa at 2 pm and spend about 40 minutes touring the facility. Then at 3:30 pm, you will tour Maoi Distillery in Naganuma for about 40 minutes. After the tour, you will have an hour of wine-tasting experience on a private deck at the Jiyu no Oka, Maoi. Both Housui Winery and Maoi Distillery are well-known local brands. These locations are known for sophisticated products and beautiful landscapes. At Housui Winery, you will try the famous Hokkaido soft-serve ice cream with an original sauce made from Housui vineyard grapes. Then at Maoi Distillery, you can sample a glass of wine and watch the beautiful landscapes on a private deck overlooking the Ishikari Plain. After the wine tasting you will travel back to your hotel.
