Make your own bottle of gin at Saigon Baigur’s District 9 Distillery in Ho Chi Minh City. Tour the working distillery, see the stills in action, and learn how Vietnamese botanicals shape its spice-forward profile. At Vietnam’s only Gin School, choose your botanicals, create a recipe, and distill your gin with guidance from the distillers. Two gin-based cocktails round out the experience.

Step inside the District 9 Distilling Company and discover the home of Saigon Baigur. Follow your guide through the production areas and see the full journey of the production of Saigon Baigur gin.
Continue into the workshop, where the hands-on part of your experience begins. Distill your own gin in pairs by selecting ingredients from 18 botanicals and learn how citrus, floral, earthy, and spicy notes shape a balanced gin.
You will work as pairs of two on one still and take home a 350ml bottles each or one 700ml bottle of gin together.
Sip a complimentary cocktail from the signature menu as your spirit develops. When distillation is complete, bottle your gin and personalize your label.
Finish your experience in the garden bar, where a second complimentary cocktail awaits. Relax in the shade until 16:30, when the shuttle bus returns you to the city and drops you off at Thao Dien metro station or book your own taxi.
IMPORTAN INFORMATION FOR SINGLE TRAVELERS.
Distillation will be done in pairs on one still. Each person will be able to take home their own 350ml bottle. If you would like to work alone on a still and take home a 700ml bottle of gin you will need to buy 2 tickets.

Fantastic gin experience
If you like gin, then you must do this tour! The host, Kevin, is also the master distiller. After explaining the distillation process and checking out some of the ingredients, they let you loose on making your own gin. Don’t worry, they provide you with a baseline recipe to get you started. There’s also a bunch of gins to taste and cocktails included. A+++

Wonderful Gin Distillery Tour at D9
Had an absolutely wonderful time at the distillery! Phu/Kevin showed me around, explained all the processes and helped with the gin making process as well. He whips up some great cocktails and has amazing insight as the master distiller at D9! The house gins were fabulous and the Mekong Dangerous liqueur is definitely a must try. I was lucky to have the tour all by myself on a weekday haha. Kudos to the team at the distillery and hope to visit them again soon :)

It was very fun experience to look at distillation techniques and try distilling it ourselves. Guide was pretty informative and entertaining too.
