Experience Details

Walking through the streets of Japan’s cities, you’ll notice many restaurants display realistic replicas of their dishes. These plastic food samples are known for their lifelike colors and shapes, and have become a popular souvenir for visitors.


This workshop offers travelers a fun chance to create a unique keepsake while exploring this modern Japanese craft. It is suitable for families, couples, or solo travelers.


At the workshop, you can choose a takoyaki (octopus balls) or sushi design for a keychain or magnet. With guidance from your instructor, you’ll paint and decorate your creation in a relaxed, hands-on setting.


The workshop is located near Namba Station in downtown Osaka, on Dougu Yasuji Shopping Street. This 150-meter arcade is lined with shops selling cookware, utensils, and related items, making it easy to enjoy a shopping stroll before or after your session.

Quick and easy. Good souvenir to take home- takes 20-30 minutes. Just felt a bit rushed.

체험 너무 즐겁게 진행했습니다. 주인분께서 친절하개 진행해 주셨구요. 다만 하루면 마른다 했는데 포장해준 케이스를 열어두지 않고 이틀 후 귀국시에 얼룩이 약간 번졌습니다.(다꼬야끼) 공기 중에 발려서 가세요. 영어로 해주셨고, 샘플을 보여주시는데 샘플과 비슷한 효과를 만드는 별도의 스킬을 알려주지는 않아 스스로 진짜처럼 보이게 시도해 보세요.
