Olive Oil Seminar - Tasting in Metaggitsi Halkidiki (German)

Greece is one of the oldest olive growing regions in the world. Welcome to our region of Halkidiki, home to the world-famous green Halkidiki olives and the great philosopher Aristotle. Our village Metaggitsi on Sithonia is known in the region as the “Olive Oil Village” of Halkidiki! For generations the village has grown the local olive variety “Galani”, from which 90% olive oil is produced. You become a professional olive oil taster. You will learn about our high-quality olive oil and the olives from the region. All your questions about olive oil will be answered. Not all olive oils are the same or of high quality. You will learn and experience this and much more in our tasting seminar. Duration : 2 hours. Location : Behind the farm shop in the middle of our small olive grove, weather permitting. Water, bread and cold traditional food are available for the participants. After participation you will receive a certificate of participation and our brochure. If you want to buy local products such as olive oil, olives, cosmetics and honey, you can find them in our farm shop. Payment options : cash or bank card. A toilet is available.
