Good to Know

Macarons, a famous French dessert since the beginning of the 20th century, may seem daunting to make; but don't fear! With our expert chef, you'll learn the steps from start to finish to make the perfect French-style macaron. In this 3-hour class that takes place in the chef's own Parisian apartment, you'll select 2-3 flavors with the other participants, roll up your sleeves, and get to work. You'll get to leave with a box of your homemade macarons (if there are any left!), and your chef will share with you their own personal recipe by email, so that you can make macarons once back home.

Take some time out from your Paris sightseeing to learn how to make a famous French confection – macarons. Meet a local French chef in a private Parisian apartment in the heart of the city, where you'll discover the secrets behind making these esteemed, colorful French delights, made of two moist meringue shells sandwiched together by a creamy filling. This small-group experience is limited to eight people, so you'll learn how to make these special treats with personalized attention from your host. In case of delay of more than 20 minutes, access to the class will be refused and no refund will be granted.

Viola! Best macarons ever (for me)

The class was fun and informative. Chef Myriam had a lovely space, with a great view for the class. She explained how & why to do things to get a successful result in the baking. We really enjoyed our caramel and raspberry macarons!!

A Must Do

Chef Frederic was so warm and welcoming. We went to his personal kitchen and he taught us how to make macarons. He taught us step-by-step and we all participated in every part of the process. The best part was that we got to take some home with us. This is a must do if you like that sort of thing!

Delicious and Fun

Macaroon class was a unique experience, a must in going to Paris. Chef Marthe was kind and patient. She showed many techniques that would help anyone perfect a macaroon. Her techniques were well excecuted and I can't wait to try and practice them at home.
