Good to Know

Book a private and fun experience with our Florentine family to prepare handmade pasta. We will use products from our garden and, if not available, at 0 km. We will prepare traditional recipes together! If weather permits we will eat in our beautiful garden! (Sometimes it is possible that some requests overlap, we will contact you and ask for your agreement to allow the activity to be carried out in a small group). Thanks to the partnership with the Correnti ODV Association, for each Cooking Class, €1 will be donated to support the community of orphaned children of Malelea in Lesotho. Garden Cooking Class puts its heart into it.

Join our family in the heart of the Oltrarno in the name of a cooking class and tasting experience based on typical products! You will enter a Florentine house where you will start the processing of homemade pasta following simple recipes using products from our garden, if available, or seasonal and km0. We will taste the fruit of our work tasting wine and tasting local products and our high quality extra virgin olive oil that you can buy if you want to bring with you the flavors of our home. If you want to learn how to make Spritz! Our exclusive garden will frame the day! Example menu (sauces and pasta type may change according to fresh seasonal products): Appetizer : Fettunta or Bruschetta or cheese First courses: Tagliatelle or ravioli or lasagna Dessert : cantuccini/mousse/ice cream/fresh seasonal fruit Drinks included The experience can be customized to suit vegetarian and wandering options. Please let us know when you book even in case of allergies. All instruments are included! In case of rain it will not be possible to stay in the garden. Min. 3 persons. Possible to customize.

Best personal home cooking experience!

If you’re looking for a personalize, true Italian home cooking experience, this is 100% it. One of the best experiences we've had in Florence. Wonderful family and a fun, casual experience to Italian home pasta cooking/making. Loved it!

Best cooking experience in Florence.

We had such a fun time with Camilla and her family. They were so welcoming it was like having dinner with friends. We enjoyed learning about their lives and customs of the area. Cant say enough good things about our evening.

We hebben een geweldige gezellige avond gehad bij Camilla en Samuel thuis. We werden heel gastvrij ontvangen met een drankje en een tour door het huis en de tuin. Leuk om te zien hoe je in zo'n drukke stad toch zo rustig kunt wonen. We maakten heerlijke verse pasta's (ravioli en tagliatelle) en tiramisu. Tijdens de workshop gebruikten we allemaal verse lokale producten en dat kon je zeker proeven! Fijn om in een klein groepje de traditionele keuken van Italië te ervaren en met elkaar te kletsen...read more
